We all know what Freddie sounded like during 1980: Very strong, with mostly good-to-excellent vocal shapes on all gigs, and some oversinging to top it off (sorry had to say it)! For these Tokyo performances, I do not know what the hell has happened, but Freddie sounds "unstable" on every gig. For every high note he hits (like B4s and such), you can find him CRACKING on lower 4th octave notes! His vocal shape overall is good on the gigs--it's just the cords aren't cooperating all the time! I have tried to figure this out for sometime, but I still can't get it. Maybe you guys can help! ENJOY!!!
